Slightly Stoopid’s – Closer to the Sun 2018

It was an amazing pleasure to work with one of my favorite artists. Since discovering the laid back California Reggae Rock that grew and morphed into the Charlie 2Na relationship it is today, Slightly Stoopid personifies and perpetuates a consistent message. Turns out each one of them is a genuine, down to earth person. Rare in a band with such credibility.

I am guilty of suggesting that it is dangerous to meet your idols. There are many good reasons to avoid it, but this one instance made me respect these musicians, and people even more. Please enjoy their energy that ROCKED the beaches of Mexico; and if you’re one of the lucky one’s leaving for Strings & Sol this week, enjoy it for the rest of us!
